Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Cloud Architect (Multi-Cloud) to design strategies across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI for US-based operations. The role emphasizes portability, cross-cloud networking, identity, and security, delivering reference architectures and reusable patterns.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of cloud-architecture experience with multiple providers, strong communication skills, and a track record of leading multi-cloud initiatives. Remote, direct W2, $100k–$180k/year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience across at least two major cloud providers.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security across multiple providers.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code across clouds.
• Experience designing federated identity and SSO across cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, container platforms, and managed cloud services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Multiple cloud certifications across providers.
• Track record of leading multi-cloud architecture initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-cloud strategy and target-state architecture across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Design federated identity, SSO, and cross-cloud authorization patterns.
• Architect cross-cloud networking including transit hubs and private connectivity.
• Establish reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns across clouds.
• Define container, Kubernetes, and serverless strategies across providers.
• Design data architecture for cross-cloud movement, residency, and analytics.
• Drive multi-cloud observability, security monitoring, and policy enforcement.
• Lead FinOps practices across multiple cloud providers.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity spanning clouds.
• Collaborate with security on multi-cloud models and key management.
• Guide engineering on cloud-agnostic vs cloud-native patterns.
• Produce architecture artifacts and roadmaps for future reference.
• Engage with providers to review roadmaps and adoption proposals.
