Blacksmith Agency is seeking a senior Media Strategist to own strategy, performance and client leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and conversion optimization. This hybrid role involves joining sales calls, overseeing specialists, and delivering measurable client outcomes.

You will build roadmaps, own results, and provide weekly direction with QA while coordinating with the marketing project manager. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in PPC, SEO or multi-channel full-funnel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Expertise with Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console and keyword tools.
• Ability to articulate strategic recs for clients and account execs.
• Track record overseeing execution teams and maintaining deliverable quality.
• Sharp analytical skills for diagnosing performance issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch technical recommendations.
• Build 90 day, 6 month and annual growth roadmaps for each client.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit PPC campaigns, keywords, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO, link building and AI-driven content.
• Own KPI tracking, conversion attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and QA, coordinating priorities with the marketing PM.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
