Job summary

BizFirst LLC is seeking a Functional Analyst to support the OARS FM System Consolidation Analysis and Roadmap. This is a fully remote role with potential travel to DFAS locations in Indianapolis, Columbus, and Cleveland.

The candidate should have 10 years of federal financial management experience and be adept at translating business needs into system and data architecture, shaping governance and transformation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

10 years of relevant experience.
Federal financial management knowledge, DoD audits and compliance.
Experience with shared services transformation in large public-sector environments.
Ability to translate business requirements into system, data and architecture needs.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial management requirements including accounting, payroll and workforce processes and translate into system and architecture needs.
Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and explain business implications of technology choices.
Assess shared services operating models across governance, structures, processes, technology and performance.
Identify opportunities for system consolidation and process improvement while considering DoD audit/compliance.
Contribute functional analysis to the consolidation roadmap aligning priorities with technology planning.
