Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. invites a Senior System Integration and Test (SIT) Engineer to join the AEROS software integration and site support team in Chesterfield, MO.

The role focuses on test planning, hardware-software integration, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve system issues. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in software-hardware integration, strong QA skills, and familiarity with Python, Bash, Linux, and SCADA/DNP3.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or similar major or equivalent on the job training
• Minimum 5+ years experience in software hardware integration and controls testing
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems, and document processes and procedures to help others do the same
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Bash for development and troubleshooting
• Comfortable with operation of the Linux environment and basic networking skill
• Clear and concise communication skills, verbally, and in writing.
• Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a fast‑paced multi-project environment.
• Experience with Battery management systems and fieldbus protocols is desirable

Responsibilities

• Integrate multi-vendor components with in-house software and hardware
• Plan and execute factory integration and system acceptance tests
• Develop regression scripts for Linux-based systems and web apps
• Resolve issues with cross-functional teams across projects
• Provide remote and on-site support for battery installations
• Maintain documentation and test metrics for stakeholders
• Support Agile/Scrum processes and communicate progress
