Senior Reliability Engineer – Tucson, AZ (Onsite)

Overview

Lifecycle Engineering ensures that Raytheon’s products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. The Senior Reliability Engineer will support product support across the lifecycle, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and failure analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Implement reliability strategy across multiple product phases including development, production, and sustainment.
  • Support an engineering team consisting of varying levels of experience and engineering sub-disciplines.
  • Conduct and lead reliability analysis efforts supporting system design.
  • Work in reliability disciplines including FMECA, predictions, and derating.
  • Support and lead other reliability engineers, including coaching.
  • Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with reliability requirements, analyses, and/or test methodology development.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FMECA, reliability predictions, ESS, derating, FRACA.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Customer focus and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficiency with MS Office and presentation preparation.
  • Ability to review technical documentation and follow through to closure.

Compensation

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD, based on experience, role, function, and location.

Eligibility & Clearance

Role requires a U.S. citizen and an active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret). Interim clearance is required prior to start date.
