Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer with failure analysis experience in Power Management to support growing demand and AI‑driven power requirements. You will analyze and report on a range of semiconductor products, leveraging bench equipment and non‑destructive techniques.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in FA, degrees in EE, experience with power electronics, isolation and physical FA, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in semiconductor device failure analysis and/or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.
• Failure analysis experience with Power Electronics is ideal.
• Experience with electrical isolation and physical failure analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of diodes and transistors work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

OurFailure Analysis Teamis looking for aSeniorReliability EngineerinourPalm Bay, Floridaofficewith failure analysis experience in Power Management to help the growing demand and support for power requirement with Artificial Intelligence.We are seeking an enthusiastic,initiative-taking,fast-learning individual who willfocus onanalyzingand reporting on a variety of semiconductor products.

Asuccessful candidatewould have knowledge or experience in the following:

An understanding of Semiconductor fabrication and packaging.

Package and non-destructive techniques:Curve tracer, X-ray, SAM

Images basedisolation techniques:PhotonEmission Microscopy,OBIRCh, Thermal emission.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts.

Use of bench equipment to power up and characterize fault symptoms.

Deprocessing techniques: Wet chemistry, polishing, plasma.

Qualifications

5years’ experiencein semiconductor device failure analysis and/or equivalent

Bachelor’s or master’sdegree in electrical engineeringpreferred

Failure analysis experience with Power Electronics is ideal

Experiencewith electrical isolation and physical failure analysis techniques

Strong understanding of diodes and transistors work.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
