The Senior Reliability Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at Birla Carbon’s Franklin, LA facility. This role is responsible for developing and implementing reliability strategies to improve equipment performance, reduce unplanned downtime, and extend asset life. Day-to-day activities include conducting failure analysis, leading reliability centered maintenance initiatives, and collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify and resolve root causes of equipment issues. The Senior Reliability Engineer will create and maintain reliability performance metrics, optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and support troubleshooting of complex technical problems. The role also involves driving continuous improvement projects, supporting capital planning for reliability enhancements, and ensuring alignment with safety and sustainability standards.
