Midwest Reliability Organization in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Senior Reliability Assessment Engineer to serve as SME on resource and transmission adequacy analysis of the bulk power system in the region. This role covers power flow and dynamics modeling, reliability assessments, and transfer capability studies.
You will collaborate with FERC, NERC, ERAG, and registered entities, supervise data collections, analytical studies, and reports, and support regional assessments such as SRA/WRA.

The Senior Reliability Assessment Engineer serves as a subject matter expert on the resource and transmission adequacy analysis of the bulk power system (BPS) in the region and on related power flow and dynamics modeling, reliability assessments, and transfer capability studies. This position supports a variety of technical data collections, analytical studies, reviews, and analysis of technical difficulty and critical importance. This position collaborates with technical staff from Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Eastern Interconnection Reliability Assessment Group (ERAG), and individual registered entities within the MRO region.
