Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care, business, statistics, math or closely related field required.
• Five to seven years of related experience; one to three years of independent work.
• Three to five years of managed care and health insurance experience, including reimbursement methodologies, data research and reporting.
• Knowledge of commercial and Medicare payment methodologies is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel required; SAS programming knowledge strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data, reporting, and analytical expertise to strategic teams focused on provider reimbursement and value-based care initiatives.
• Calculate, monitor, and track performance using data to support informed business decisions.
• Prepare financial and utilization models to illustrate impact of changes to provider reimbursement, contracts, policies, and programs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to SOPs and projects.
• Participate in meetings with external parties and develop presentations to advance the Plan's objectives.
• Mentor junior staff as required.
