Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Policy and Intelligence Associate Director to lead the development and articulation of Amgen's positions on regulatory policies across a defined portfolio. You will engage regulators, industry groups, and internal experts to drive cross-functional alignment and impact policy outcomes.

You will report to the U.S. Lead for Regulatory Policy and Intelligence and collaborate with Government Affairs, R&D, Operations, and other stakeholders to advance enterprise-wide

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with extensive regulatory policy experience.
• Experience with FDA and international regulators.
• Trade association or consortia experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to work across functions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage policy projects and align cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Foster US trade association relationships and provide stewardship over regulatory and R&D-related engagements.
• Staff company executives in leadership roles in domestic and international forums.
• Develop and lead enterprise-wide regulatory reform initiatives and shape policy outcomes.
• Lead policy initiatives from analysis and position development through external engagement.
• Partner with policy leads to develop advocacy materials on priority policy issues.
• Prepare presentations to support alignment on positions across Amgen.
