Position Profile

Reporting to the Vice President, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs, you will draft policy submissions on telecommunications and broadcasting matters before the FCC and other bodies. You will advise the business and collaborate across states to support regulatory advocacy and compliance, playing a strategic role in advancing company interests.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact on regulatory issues related to broadband, wireline, wireless telephony, and video services.
• Draft submissions for public proceedings before agencies like the FCC.
• Analyze regulatory rules and decisions, and assess strategies.
• Advise senior management on legislation, regulations, and compliance.
• Support public affairs and government relations with strategic input.
• Ensure regulatory filing compliance.
• Represent Breezeline in external groups and trade associations.
• Coordinate with external counsel on complex legal issues.

Qualifications

• 4+ years practicing law.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters and prioritize effectively.
• Skill in balancing business needs with regulatory requirements.
