Job summary

Lewis James Professional seeks a Program Manager – Regulatory Compliance to lead a regulatory program for a financial services client. You will coordinate Operations and Compliance teams, drive remediation efforts, and manage governance, milestones, and risk reporting.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong stakeholder management, and effective executive communication to ensure timely delivery and enhanced compliance oversight.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex, enterprise-level programs within banking or financial services.
• Strong program management skills with a demonstrated ability to drive large cross-functional initiatives.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance environments and risk management principles.
• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder groups across Operations, Compliance, and leadership teams.
• Experience managing regulatory findings, remediation efforts, or compliance transformation initiatives.
• Strong executive communication, governance, and issue management skills.
• Knowledge of Regulation E is a significant plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large-scale regulatory compliance program involving Operations and Compliance teams.
• Drive enterprise-wide coordination of remediation activities related to regulatory findings.
• Develop and manage program governance, project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and reporting.
• Partner with business leaders, compliance stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure timely execution of program objectives.
• Identify and escalation risks, issues, and blockers that could impact regulatory compliance or program delivery.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement sustainable process improvements and control enhancements.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are incorporated into business processes and remediation activities.
• Provide regular status updates and executive-level communications on program progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Support the organization in reducing regulatory risk and improving compliance oversight.
