FirstEnergy is seeking an experienced regulatory affairs professional for the State Finance and Regulatory Affairs team, based in Harrisburg, PA. This on-site role reports to the Vice President, PA State Finance and Regulatory Affairs, and focuses on building relationships with the Public Utility Commission.

The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and strong communication skills to advocate company positions and coordinate cross-functional regulatory activities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience with external audiences to communicate/advocate positions.
• Experience in electric utility industry and regulatory environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Public Utility Commission.
• Serve as liaison for FirstEnergy to the Public Utility Commission.
• Communicate with external stakeholders on diverse issues.
• Monitor, analyze, and report regulatory matters; support decision making.
• Develop and execute regulatory strategies aligning with business goals.
• Coordinate regulatory activities with internal units for alignment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve escalated regulatory complaints.
