Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Regional Design Manager to join its global design team and influence design delivery across regions. You will lead multi-disciplinary DC design efforts, manage budgets and schedules, and establish procedures for future systems.

You will collaborate with Architects, engineers, operations, and external consultants, mentor teams, and ensure high quality standards while traveling up to 25% for site assessments and reviews.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance.
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations or facility maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of discipline leads to deliver globally consistent DC designs within budget and schedule.
• Influence internal stakeholders, operations, and external consultants on design changes.
• Manage escalations and align design development with permitting and implementation lifecycle.
• Show strong project management: critical path, risk, cost, and quality control.
• Mentor team members on design standards and drive best practice documentation.
