Job summary
A construction management firm is seeking a Senior Regional Construction Scheduler to manage scheduling and construction oversight for LAUSD projects. This role requires advanced scheduling expertise, supervising project schedulers, and coordinating with teams to ensure project schedule integrity. Ideal candidates should have at least 10 years of construction scheduling experience, proficiency in Primavera P6, and strong organizational skills. Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in construction scheduling.
Experience working for an owner, consultant, or general contractor.
Experience on public works or educational facility projects preferred.
Responsibilities
Report to senior leadership and provide schedule-related reports.
Assist in supervising Project Schedulers and coordinating with teams.
Interpret construction drawings to understand project scope.
Review contractor baseline schedules and identify issues.
Analyze monthly schedule updates and document delays.
Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using accepted methodologies.
Communicate schedule issues and progress during meetings.
Develop and maintain program and master schedules.
Conduct site visits to verify progress and alignment.
Skills
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version)
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of cost engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Ability to lead and coordinate scheduling teams
Collaborative working skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
Bachelor’s degree in any field with additional experience in construction scheduling
