Job summary

Walmart in Leicester, MA is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to lead repair and maintenance of store refrigeration systems. You will use commercial HVAC/R skills, hand tools, and digital devices to service and document work.

The role requires extensive experience with rack refrigeration, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. You will respond to emergencies, follow safety policies, and lift up to 75 pounds in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently
