Qualifications

• 7+ years of Linux Systems Engineering or Platform Engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform administration.
• Experience deploying and managing: Automation Mesh, Execution Environments, and related components.
• Experience with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and platform scaling.
• Strong Python scripting skills and familiarity with REST APIs.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab and enterprise authentication (LDAP/AD/SSO).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise-scale Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform environments.
• Own the complete platform lifecycle including installation, upgrades, patching, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Build highly available and scalable AAP clusters across multiple environments.
• Configure and administer Automation Controller (Tower), Automation Hub, Private Automation Hub, Execution Environments, and Automation Mesh.
• Implement platform governance including RBAC, authentication, credential management, inventories, organizations, projects, job templates, and workflow templates.
• Integrate AAP with enterprise authentication services such as LDAP, Active Directory, and SSO.
• Build and maintain Execution Environments using container technologies.
• Integrate AAP with GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, ITSM platforms, APIs, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize platform performance.
• Develop standards, best practices, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Partner with Linux, Windows, VMware, Cloud, Network, and Security teams to enable enterprise automation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to automation engineers and platform users.
