Job summary

Era Living, LLC is hiring a full-time Recreation Assistant for our Lakeshore Community in South Seattle/Renton, WA. The role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a competitive benefits package and onsite perks.

Responsibilities include leading group and cognitive activities, assisting with social programming, and ensuring resident safety and privacy. Ideal candidates have experience with activity leadership, strong English communication, and the ability to obtain required

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid WA State Driver License and driving record compliant with Era Living policy; must be 25 years old.
• Experience leading group activities and fitness programs preferred.
• Experience using computers: Word, Publisher and Excel required.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; read/write in English; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead small and large resident recreation group activities, including cognitive enrichment and fitness classes.
• Assist with social programming and planning; coordinate with Life Enrichment team.
• Ensure resident safety, confidentiality, and sensitivity to older adults' needs.
