Job summary

AMD is building a hardware-assisted security platform that uses silicon-level PMCs and on‑chip ML to detect advanced threats at the processor layer, below OS evasion. The team covers the full stack from telemetry to real-time inference and API exposure for security partners.

The role leads end-to-end architecture for real-time detection pipelines, streaming SDKs, and external API specifications. You will mentor engineers, review designs, and contribute to docs and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of systems programming in C/C++, with real-time or security-focused experience.
• Expertise in low-latency pipeline design: kernel/user-space IPC, memory-mapped I/O.
• Experience shipping external SDKs or partner integration APIs.
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux kernel architecture and driver development.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end real-time detection pipeline from kernel telemetry to API delivery.
• Lead the streaming SDK architecture with low latency and multi-subscriber support.
• Design and own the ISV API specification across product generations.
• Architect tamper-resistant telemetry collection for hardware signals.
• Define performance budgets and latency/CPU targets for deployments.
• Lead architecture reviews with security software partners and mentor engineers.
