Job summary

bluecrestinc is seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team developing machine control solutions for high‑performance mailing equipment. You will design, implement and deploy real‑time software, collaborating across disciplines to meet demanding schedules and budgets.

Qualified candidates bring 8–10+ years in C++ software development, experience with real‑time systems (RTX preferred), and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware‑software interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale, object-oriented software development lifecycle.
• Strong C++ programming skills for real-time control design.
• Experience in mechatronics and hardware/software integration.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for complex system-level problems under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements, architect, design, implement and deploy real-time software to control high-speed mail processing equipment.
• Coordinate cross-project deliverables and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Define and perform system-level testing and use results to improve performance.
• Lead cross-functional project teams on high-risk initiatives to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with project team members, product management and external partners.
