You’ll collaborate with electrical, FPGA, and mechanical engineers to optimize performance, deliver iterative milestones, and maintain coding standards across a shared codebase. This role demands creativity, ownership, and strong OOAD/UML skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 years of embedded firmware experience.
• Experience in real-time embedded systems with C++ (RTOS or POSIX IPC).
• Knowledge of OOAD and UML.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test real-time embedded firmware using modern C++.
• Analyze problems with debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Read schematics and datasheets to write low-level firmware.
• Collaborate with electrical, FPGA, and mechanical engineers to optimize performance.
• Break development into deliverables and provide estimates.
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to a shared codebase using best practices.
