SourcePro Search, LLC is recruiting a Real Estate Attorney – Special Counsel in New York. The role seeks a leader to advise on high‑value transactions, including financing, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures, within a collaborative, entrepreneurial team.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in real estate deals and a strong background in representing both borrowers and lenders in complex financings. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active New York Bar admission, in good standing.
8+ years of substantive real estate transaction experience including finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
Experience representing borrowers and lenders in complex real estate finance matters.

Responsibilities

Lead negotiation and execution of real estate transactions, including loan agreements and joint venture documents.
Serve as strategic advisor to institutional investors, developers, REITs, private equity firms, and lenders.
Collaborate with tax, corporate, and litigation teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
Advise on risk allocation and mitigation across deal lifecycles.
Mentor associates and support professional development.
