Job summary

Hines is seeking a Senior Project Accountant for Living with Hines to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting information for a project or entity. You will work with controllers, project managers, and accountants to ensure financial reporting and construction draws are accurate.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting with strong organizational skills, plus 3–4 years of accounting experience; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA designation preferred or pursuing CPA.
• 3 years of public accounting experience or 4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Commercial real estate experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting information for reporting requirements.
• Prepare funding requests to investors and lenders.
• Perform treasury functions including wire payments.
• Review AR aging and assess collectability; recommend reserves.
• Record journal entries and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Maintain fixed assets and monthly amortization/depreciation.
