Job summary

Akerman LLP seeks a Real Estate Attorney with at least six years of experience handling real estate transactions with emphasis on undeveloped land acquisition and disposition. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing homebuilders and developers in residential, multifamily, mixed-use and commercial development projects.

The candidate must hold a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of The Florida Bar. This role can be based in any Florida office.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member of The Florida Bar.
• At least six years of real estate experience.
• Experience handling acquisition and disposition of undeveloped land.

Responsibilities

• Handle real estate transactions including undeveloped land acquisitions and dispositions.
• Represent homebuilders and developers on residential, multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial development projects.
• Advise through all phases of the development lifecycle from land acquisition to financing and disposition.
