Adams- in Chicago seeks an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join a nationally regarded law firm. You will work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions with direct client contact and substantial responsibility.

Required: JD from an accredited school, active Illinois bar, 5+ years CRE experience, and excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Salary $250,000–$300,000 plus annual bonus eligibility and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Illinois bar admission and in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience.
• Experience handling complex real estate transactions independently.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets.
• Represent clients in real estate financing transactions.
• Conduct and oversee real estate due diligence processes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements.
• Structure and negotiate joint venture transactions.
• Manage transactions through all phases, from initial negotiations through closing.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and maintain direct client relationships.
