Job summary

MSA Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Real Estate Appraiser to join our Real Estate team and bring deep valuation expertise to transportation and public improvement projects in Madison, WI.

You will independently handle complex appraisals, including eminent domain and right of way transactions, while mentoring junior staff and supporting client relations. As a senior technical resource, you’ll shape how appraisal services grow within MSA’s expanding Real Estate practice, contributing to

Qualifications

• Independent handling of complex real estate appraisals for transportation and public improvement projects.
• Prepare detailed, defendable appraisal reports for municipal and WisDOT acquisitions.
• Determine valuation approaches and complete reviews in line with WisDOT and FHWA requirements.
• Lead and mentor less-experienced appraisers within the Real Estate practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with real estate professionals, project managers and clients on complex valuation matters.
• Maintain current knowledge of market trends, appraisal standards and regulatory changes.
• Manage multiple assignments while upholding schedules and quality.
• Support business growth of MSA’s appraisal capabilities as part of the Real Estate practice.
