Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to design and implement scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js. You will build reusable UI components, work with RESTful APIs and backend microservices, and collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver accessible, responsive interfaces.

You will participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and mentor junior developers while aligning with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong frontend expertise.
• 5+ years hands-on React.js experience.
• Experience with Next.js and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Redux/Context API/Zustand.
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL services.
• Understanding of microservices-based architectures.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest/RTL/Cypress).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Azure deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and responsive UI components.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production phases.
• Work closely with backend teams for secure, efficient integrations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
• Support deployment activities and production issue resolution as needed.
