Job summary

PrizePicks, a leading Daily Fantasy Sports platform, seeks a Senior Software Engineer with deep TypeScript and React Native expertise to join the Checkout & Gameplay team. You will design, build, and own critical features in our React Native mobile app, mentoring engineers and guiding the product from idea to production, impacting millions of users daily.

You will work autonomously on complex problems, collaborating with Product, Design, QA, and other engineers.

Qualifications

5–8 years of professional software engineering experience with production React Native apps.
Own and deliver complex mobile features in a team environment.
Experience with full mobile development lifecycle from development to app store submission and post-release monitoring.
Experience with large-scale, high-throughput distributed systems powering millions of users.

Responsibilities

Design and build mobile features in our React Native app.
Lead the technical design and end-to-end delivery of features.
Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize app performance.
Define technical direction and architectural decisions for mobile features.
Mentor engineers on the team through code reviews and pairing.
Improve mobile engineering practices, including testing, accessibility, and deployment.
