Job summary

Optomi is seeking a React Native Developer for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC on a 6+ month contract. The ideal candidate will build enterprise mobile solutions, connect RN apps to backend systems, and leverage native iOS/Android capabilities within a regulated financial services environment.

The role requires strong RN and TypeScript experience, plus expertise in secure authentication, API integration, and API management to support digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile development experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise React Native apps for iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of architecture, state management, and performance.
• Experience integrating RN with RESTful APIs and enterprise backends.
• Secure authentication implementations including OAuth 2.0 / OIDC / JWT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade React Native mobile apps.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with API, security, cloud, and product teams on modernization initiatives.
• Incorporate secure data storage and encryption practices.
