Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager (Registered Dietitian) to lead a team of 2+ RDs, oversee hiring, scheduling, training, and provide inpatient and outpatient nutritional interventions.

This role offers a starting salary of $78,000 with negotiable based on experience and a $3,000 sign-on, plus benefits and the option to work one remote day per week. Registration, licensure, and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with CDR and licensed dietitian as required by state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling for a team of 2+ registered dietitians.
• Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, quality, and respect.
• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs.
• Provide nutritional support training for the patient service ambassador team.
• Manage clinical QAPI projects and plans and collaborate with other departments to achieve goals.
