Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Raw Material Specialist in the Salt Lake City area to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials used in manufacturing. You will manage material planning, supplier collaboration, inventory optimization and risk mitigation to maintain service levels while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities include leading MRP activities in SAP, reviewing requisitions, and monitoring inventory, lead times and safety stocks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply planning, materials management or procurement.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving supply issues.
• Must be able to pass an ATF background check for explosives handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials for manufacturing operations.
• Manage material planning, supplier collaboration, inventory optimization and risk mitigation.
• Lead MRP activities, review requisitions, and maintain planning parameters.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast changes, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing for critical materials.
