Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is building the first space-based cellular broadband network accessible by standard smartphones. The RAN Deployment Engineer will lead MNO lab coordination, ensuring schedules, configurations, ATP plans, and validation meet commercial-ready standards across regions.

You will oversee test plans, regression testing, and acceptance sign-offs to minimize rework. Based in the US with ~40% travel, you will drive end-to-end lab activities, coordinate with vendors and operators, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in E.E., Telecom, or related field.
• 8–12 years in telecommunications or satellite environments with lab/validation experience.
• Experience coordinating multi‑vendor lab environments and multi‑market validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead MNO lab coordination across operators and regions.
• Oversee vendor and operator test plans within the lab.
• Govern lab activities involving validation of interfaces and change control.
• Manage synchronization between lab activities and production activations.
• Establish and maintain robust defect-tracking and issue resolution processes.
