TYLin is seeking an experienced Senior Track and Civil Engineer to join our growing Rail + Transit team in the Pacific Northwest. This role is ideal for a rail engineering professional with approximately 8–12 years of experience who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to lead track and civil design within complex, multidisciplinary transportation projects.
You will play an important role in the planning, design, and delivery of rail and transit infrastructure throughout the Pacific Northwest and across the U.S. Working alongside project managers, engineers, architects, and other technical specialists, you will contribute across the full project lifecycle - from planning and preliminary engineering through final design, procurement, and construction support.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in track alignment, geometry, corridor integration, and multidisciplinary coordination, with exposure to light rail, heavy rail, commuter rail, intercity passenger rail, freight rail, or rail yards and maintenance facilities.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to major transportation programs in markets such as Washington and Oregon, while also supporting TYLin's broader national Rail + Transit practice.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$120,000 - $170,000 annually for this position and local market.
