Job summary
Wabtec Corporation is seeking an Advanced Lead Engineer to drive the design, development and deployment of Core Electronics products such as GoLINC, LIG, and Video/Event Recording systems. You will work with Product and Project Management and railroad customers to deliver advanced automation and data analytics for rail applications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on design, requirements development and implementation experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to future concepts and design enhancements for Core Electronics products.
- Be a Technical Leader for projects across global cross-functional teams.
- Translate customer requirements into functional product requirements and manage traceability.
- Participate in development of proposals and engineering estimates/schedules.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop freight automation solutions and productize them.
