Job summary

Providence seeks a Senior Radiology Technologist for the Radiology Unit at Petaluma Valley Hospital in California. This full-time role will perform CT and routine radiologic procedures on patients of all ages and work 10-hour variable shifts.

The candidate must hold ARRT in Radiologic Technology, CT training, California Radiologic Technologist license, BLS, and CT technologist registration, with 2 years in an acute care hospital and 1 year CT imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited school of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Training in CT in addition to Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
• 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
• 1 year of experience in Computerized Tomography in the Imaging Department.

Responsibilities

• Performs computerized axial tomography and routine radiologic procedures on patients of all ages.
• Participates in multidisciplinary committees and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborates with the medical staff and operates under minimal supervision.
• Acts as a resource to others in the Radiology Unit.

Description

Senior Radiology Technologist in Radiology Unit at Petaluma Valley Hospital. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour Variable Shifts.

A certified professional who performs computerized axial tomography, as well as routine diagnostic and special radiologic procedures on patients of all age groups. Other duties may include multi-disciplinary committee/team participation, quality improvement activities, and collaboration with the medical staff. Works under minimal supervision and acts as a resource to others in the department.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $63.11 - $84.14
