Job summary

Proforma Health in Sebastopol, CA is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology Unit for full-time night shifts. You will prepare patients for diagnostic radiographic procedures under radiologist guidance and operate imaging equipment while maintaining rooms and supplies.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, California and ARRT certifications, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital or imaging facility.
• California Radiologic Technologist certification.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic radiographic procedures under the guidance of a staff radiologist.
• Operate imaging equipment, process CR cassettes, and maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Ensure images are captured following ALARA policies for safety.
• Transport patients safely to and from the department.
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives and perform related duties as assigned.
• Be available for standby as needed.

• Fluoroscopy and Venipuncture certificates
• Experience with CT (multi-slice 64 or higher), digital Mammography, or MRI
