Job summary

Providence Facey Medical Foundation seeks a Radiologic Technologist to administer diagnostic x-rays, prepare the patient and room, and operate fixed imaging equipment on-site in Mission Hills. The role includes basic clerical duties and film processing as part of daily duties.

The candidate must be licensed as a California Radiologic Technologist, hold ARRT certification, and complete BLS within 30 days of hire, with at least two years of clinical experience and multi-modality imaging exposure.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 2 years' experience in clinic or hospital environment.
• Training / work experience with multi-modality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed diagnostic x-rays.
• Prepares patient room, equipment, supplies and contrast media for general diagnostic imaging; operates fixed x-ray equipment.
• Performs other associated functions such as clerical duties and film processing.
