Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) in Las Vegas seeks a Radiologic Technologist to coordinate patient flow, prioritize exams, and perform radiographic procedures used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

The candidate will have an accredited radiology program, two years of experience, ARRT radiography certification, Nevada radiology license, and BLS. Knowledge of QC, safety, infection control, and patient-focused care is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiology program and two years of radiologic technologist experience.
• Active ARRT Radiography certification and State of Nevada Radiology license; BLS certification.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures, QC standards, safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow through the unit and prioritize exams.
• Perform radiographic exams for physician use in diagnosis and treatment.
• Monitor quality control and ensure safety practices and patient care quality.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate with a diverse patient population.
