Key Responsibilities

• Conducts imaging procedures, reviews requisitions, and evaluates appropriateness based on patient diagnosis and signs.
• Identifies patients accurately, selects proper equipment, and assesses patient needs to develop a care plan.
• Explains procedures, addresses patient questions, and practices ALARA for radiation safety.
• Ensures departmental quality control, reports equipment issues, and supports operational tasks.
• Trains and mentors fellows, residents, students, and staff, fostering teamwork and positive morale.
• Participates in departmental meetings, maintains documentation, and complies with regulations and hospital core values.
• Engages in professional development by updating knowledge, maintaining licensure, and adhering to standards.
