Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Radiation Therapist for a part-time, first-shift role. The position focuses on independently delivering complex radiation therapy, maintaining precise treatment records, and upholding radiation safety protocols.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree with 3 years of experience in radiation therapy and an NY license. Experience with SBRT, TSEI, TBI and IGRT is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Required: NY license to practice as a radiation therapist.
• Associate’s degree with the equivalent of three years full‑time experience in Radiation Therapy.
• Degrees must be from an accredited college or Roswell Park-recognized program.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex radiation therapy procedures independently.
• Maintain and verify detailed treatment records for accuracy and safety.
• Apply radiation protection principles and ensure safe use of radioactive materials.
• Support treatment planning and ensure care is patient-centered.
