Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Senior Radiation Therapist for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Radiation Oncology Department in Boston. You will administer high-dose radiation, verify treatments, maintain records, and support QA programs to ensure patient safety.

The role includes supervision of staff and students, emergent case triage, and collaboration with physicians, nursing and physics teams. A Massachusetts license and ARRT certification within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• Requires certificate in Radiation Therapy or an associate degree in Radiation Therapy.
• Massachusetts state license in Radiation Therapy required.
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed doses following policy and procedures.
• Operate and maintain treatment planning and QA processes.
• Triage emergent cases and coordinate with care team.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Supervise therapists, aides and students in area.
