Blue Origin’s Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering team seeks a Senior Radiation Effects Engineer to plan, execute, and optimize radiation testing for space hardware. You will lead test programs (TID, DDD, SEE), develop custom setups with automated data collection, and advise on parts selection to support mission radiation hardness.
The role requires strong electronics knowledge, hands-on test hardware experience, and collaboration across engineering teams.

This role is part of Enterprise Engineering, where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EE allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization. As an integral part of the Radiation Effects team, you will lead the charge for EEE parts-level, circuit-level, and system-level radiation effects testing that will directly impact all of Blue’s space missions. Your primary focuses will be efficiently planning/executing tests for the effects of total ionizing dose (TID), displacement damage dose (DDD), and single events (SEE). Experience with radiation test automation, data collection, and data processing is highly desirable.
Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20 Other site ranges may differ
