Sigma Defense Systems in Mount Laurel, NJ seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers in a radar-focused environment. You will drive technical direction, delivery, and collaboration with program, system, and hardware managers to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 10+ years software experience, and 5+ years as a software manager, with the ability to obtain an active US security clearance.

Qualificações

• 5+ years experience as a software manager leading a team of software developers in an engineering environment.
• 10+ years experience developing software.
• Experience implementing and improving software development processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading software development in support of business goals.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a group of 20 software engineers to design and maintain software that implements instrumentation radars and threat radar models.
• Provide day-to-day technical and task leadership for a team of software engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality software on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Collaborate closely with program, system, and hardware managers to plan and execute projects.
• Work with program managers and leadership to plan project staffing for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Mentor and coach engineers on technical growth, career development, and performance expectations.
