JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to western test ranges, supporting the U.S. military.

A Radar Evaluation Field Engineer leads complex field engineering tasks, installing, operating, testing, and maintaining radar measurement systems, and performing rigorous data analysis for system performance. The role requires a technical degree or equivalent and extensive experience in radar measurement, RF calibration, and test procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or technical discipline or equivalent training required.
• 10+ years of experience in the specialty field as a Field Engineer III or similar.
• Strong ability to plan, troubleshoot, and design solutions for radar measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex field engineering assignments in radar measurement and testing.
• Install, operate, test, and maintain sophisticated electronic/mechanical equipment.
• Perform RF calibration, measurement uncertainty analysis, and performance calculations.
• Research radar measurement data and review standards and procedures.
• Generate specifications and procedures for measurement tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship.
