Job summary

Walmart in Taylor, MI seeks a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repairs of refrigeration systems within our facilities. You will use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to complete service tasks.

The role requires extensive experience in rack refrigeration, EPA refrigerant handling certifications, and a valid driver's license. Ability to work at heights and lift up to 75 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Utilize work orders to document repair activities for Stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure OSHA and EPA compliance according to Walmart policy.

Large Scale Rack Refrigeration

MVR friendly driver’s license

19+ years? High School Diploma

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Tools
