Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a highly motivated R&D Laboratory Support Technologist to join the Non-Destructive Environments and Diagnostics (1529) team. You will support diverse NDE techniques, including ultrasonic, radiography, eddy current, and dye penetrant, in a lab and field setting to advance national security applications.

You will collaborate with engineers, assist with data analysis, and help document results for customers and publications while developing new testing

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a STEM discipline; four years of related work may substitute.
• DOE Q-level security clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to implement non-destructive evaluation techniques.
• Support experiments using radiography, ultrasound, and eddy current methods.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and documentation for reports.
• Install/maintain laboratory instrumentation and fixtures.
