Job summary

Cook Inc - Bloomington is seeking a Senior Research and Development Engineer to lead pre-development research for the new iMRI Division, working with engineers, physicians, and product managers to advance medical device concepts.

You will guide project teams, ensure design quality, and contribute to IP generation while maintaining documentation and regulatory standards across cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years' relevant experience.
• Experience in a technical role within Medical Device or regulated industry/adjacent experience.
• Project/technical leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development of small projects and ownership of portions of larger projects.
• Provide SME support across functional groups and drive design decisions for customer needs.
• Develop and document design history files and maintain regulatory compliance.
