Job summary

Philips is seeking a R&D Senior Engineer, Human Factors in Plymouth, MN to drive catheter-based and implantable technologies from concept to commercialization. Lead design controls, QMS processes, and preclinical strategy within Philips IGTD’s next‑generation product development efforts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create QMS work instructions, and support activities from concept through commercialization while ensuring manufacturability and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of catheter design/assembly processes (injection molded component design, extrusion, braiding, coiling, reflow, etc.).
• Class II and Class III Medical Device product development experience.
• Human Factors experience with design for manufacturability knowledge and applicable skills.
• Must be able to meet minimum physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements.
