Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher in Bridgewater, NJ to lead advanced quantitative models for trading strategies across asset classes. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Finance or a related field with two years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Quantitative Researcher or related role.
• Experience must include statistical inference, time-series econometrics; data/ML libraries including NumPy, pandas, SciPy, statsmodels, and scikit-learn; knowledge of portfolio theory; and data visualization using JupyterLab.
• Position supervises 1 Junior Quantitative Researcher.

About this Role

1. Position: Senior Quantitative Researcher
2. Location: 100 Somerset Corp. Blvd., 2nd Floor, Bridgewater, NJ 08807

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced quantitative models and algorithms to support trading strategies across various asset classes.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for alpha generation.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of quantitative models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and reliability under various market conditions.
• Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with quantitative models and trading strategies.
• Work closely with technology teams to integrate quantitative models into trading systems and platforms, ensuring seamless execution and performance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including traders, developers, and risk managers.
• Position supervises 1 Junior Quantitative Researcher.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Finance or a related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Quantitative Researcher or in a related position.
• Experience must include: statistical inference, time-series econometrics; data/ML libraries, including NumPy, pandas, SciPy, statsmodels, and scikit-learn; knowledge of portfolio theory; and experience with data visualization using JupyterLab.
• Position supervises 1 Junior Quantitative Researcher.

1. Salary range: $138,278 - $175,000/year
