Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP in the United States seeks a client facing Quantitative Consultant to join our Quantitative & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions team. You will lead end-to-end model lifecycles, develop and validate models, and drive governance in regulated environments.

You will collaborate with risk, finance, compliance and technology stakeholders to strengthen model risk management capabilities, including SMR alignment and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or CS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with data analysis, quantitative analysis, and data validation.
• Programming in R or Python and SQL databases.
• CFA, FRM or similar risk management credentials (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Model validation and effective challenge of methodologies.
• Data inputs and assumptions review for completeness.
• Testing, back-testing, benchmarking and sensitivity analysis.
• Validate models across credit, market, liquidity, and regulatory domains.
• Document results and communicate with stakeholders.
• Manage multiple engagements with attention to detail.
• Apply analytical rigor to model risk management challenges.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with teams in client-facing delivery.
